火狐預設搜尋服務 改用雅虎

（法新社舊金山19日電） 火狐瀏覽器（Firefox）製造商謀智公司（Mozilla）今天宣布，美國火狐的預設網路搜尋引擎將改為雅虎（Yahoo）。

2004年以來，谷歌（Google）一直是火狐搜尋引擎預設選項。但根據謀智公司執行長畢爾德（Chris Beard），12月開始，美國用戶的火狐預設引擎將改為雅虎。

畢爾德在部落格貼文說：「我們不再只有單一全球搜尋服務供應商。」

「我們採用更在地化、更有彈性的做法，增加網路上的選擇和創新，依國家擴增新的搜尋夥伴。」

在俄羅斯，火狐將開始使用當地搜尋引擎Yandex做為線上搜尋的預設服務，在中國大陸則繼續使用百度。
