洛杉磯湖人9日主場出戰休士頓火箭，雖然球隊慘敗，老將Steve Nash在第2節完成偉大紀錄，生涯累積10335次助攻，擠身史上第3名。

被「超車」的前輩是現任金州勇士總教練「大屁股」Mark Jackson，賽前兩人差距4次，替補出賽的Nash光是上半場就送出5次助攻。

Nash完成紀錄的那一刻，史戴波中心全場歡聲雷動，湖人順理成章將他換下場休息，現場又是一陣掌聲。

NBA史上助攻王是前猶他爵士「玄冥二老」之一的John Stockton，生涯累積15806次，現任布魯克林籃網總教練Jason Kidd以12091次居次。

以Nash近兩年來到湖人的場均6.5次助攻來看，他還需要至少270場、相當於3個球季才能超越Kidd，對即將退休、傷痛纏身的「飄髮哥」來說，機率實在不高。
