設計缺乏功能就不是好設計 專訪 iF 總裁 Ralph Wiegmann

德國iF 年度設計大獎日前於慕尼黑揭曉，這個與德國Red Dot、美國IDEA 並列全球三大設計獎的獎項，由iF 國際論壇設計公司（International Forum Design）主辦，除了每年的設計獎評選（包括產品設計獎、傳達設計獎與包裝設計獎等類別），也與多個國際展覽合作，承辦設計競賽。

這次 MOT/TIMES 特派記者獨家直擊 iF 設計大獎頒獎典禮，更專訪到 iF 執行長 Ralph Wiegmann，早年曾擔任各大商展顧問並身兼漢諾威工業論壇設計協會的他，在全球設計界深具影響力，目前也是歐洲設計管理獎的評委會主席。在訪談中，執行長透露設計的基本條件就是「功能性」，因為設計的任務，就是為人們解決問題，而他也特別分享了自己喜愛的設計，現在就一塊來聽聽執行長怎麼說。

成立於 1953 年的 iF 設計大獎（iF Design Award），總部位在德國北部漢諾威，這個被譽為「設計界奧斯卡獎」的獎項，每年得獎名單都是各界矚目的焦點，它不但用獎項彰顯了全球設計師在各個產業的傑出表現，經典的 iF Logo 也可說是設計產品的品質保證。
