中文的"父母"稱呼？

Q:中文字裡面，對於"父母"這兩個字的稱呼，有沒有只用"一個字"來稱呼的？

A:
《教育部重編國語辭典修訂本》：
「親」：　
父母。亦單指父親或母親。如：「雙親」、「慈親」。
禮記˙奔喪：「始聞親喪。」
史記˙卷九十三˙盧綰傳：「盧綰親與高祖太上皇相愛，及生男，高祖、盧綰同日生。」
