中午地震東部列車2540人受影響

今天中午12點48分，花蓮發生規模5.4地震，南澳震度達5級，地震發生時，台鐵針對(宜蘭到和平間)列車採(4級地震辦法)處理，列車降速到時速60公里，經過工、電單位巡查路線，(宜蘭)到(蘇澳)間鐵軌在下午3點12分檢查完畢，(蘇新)到(和平)間在下午2點56分檢查完畢，都沒有災情發生，列車恢復正常行駛，總共影響20列次、2540人次延誤。

台鐵花蓮工務段副段長吳金添說明地震後，台鐵相關應變措施。：『我們按四級方式處理，就是減速行駛，降到時速60公里，通過後沒問題，才恢復正常速度！』
