美國華盛頓州塔科馬市林肯高中 （Lincoln High School ）25歲前數學女老師鮑威爾（Meredith Powell）因和2名學生發生性行為，甚至寄送裸照給他們，近日被判處監禁6個月，且吊銷其教師執照。

據英國《每日郵報》（Daily Mail）報導，今年初有數名學生向警方表示，他們曾與鮑威爾進行性行為，警方2月時將她逮捕。被逮後，鮑威爾坦承她的確曾與兩名男學生發生性行為，還曾傳數封性暗示的訊息和浴缸裸照給他們。

鮑威爾在前天開庭審理時當庭痛哭，為自己的不正確行為誠摯道歉，目前她的教師執照已被撤銷，並被判處服刑6個月。鮑威爾表示：「沒有任何話可以表達我的抱歉，但道歉已改變不了什麼，我希望那些學生能向前邁進，盡量能不被這些事情影響。」
