盧彥勳本星期參加多倫多大師賽，剛好台灣之光美國大聯盟金鶯隊名投陳偉殷，也來到多倫多藍鳥隊的主場，進行金鶯和藍鳥隊的二連戰。

透過加拿大友人的安排，盧彥勳和陳偉殷連繫上，本來盧彥勳要親自至現場，觀看陳偉殷先發對戰藍鳥隊，但因為同一天盧彥勳得進行多倫多大師賽第二輪的賽事，所以取消。星期四盧彥勳特地前往藍鳥隊球場觀看比賽，而陳偉殷雖前一天有先發投球，今天還特地來球場和盧彥勳碰面聊天話家常，兩人互相加油打氣，並互相交換網球和棒球的簽名球。

盧彥勳事後表示：「陳偉殷今年至目前為止，能在美國大聯盟中先發拿下十二勝，非常不容易，希望他能再接再勵，每場都投出精采的球賽，也希望所有在外征戰的運動員，能拼出更好的成績，一起振奮國人的士氣，讓大家快走出災難的悲傷。」
