蘋果尚未併Beats 先裁300人

蘋果5月28日宣布以30億美元（約台幣900億元）正式收購知名耳機品牌Beats，但併購還未完成，蘋果高層就已經訪問Beats總部，進行大幅度的裁員，除了研發與創新相關部門以外，包含財務和人力資源等部門，約300名員工都將失去工作。

Beats沒有被裁員的研發及創新部門員工，都將併入貧果公司高級副總裁（Phil Schiller）旗下，搬遷至Cupertino總部辦公室，但卻只能工作至2015年1月為止。而部分保留獨立營運的Beats Music部門員工，則繼續留在原本位於南加州的總部維持現有崗位。

而原本Beats的創始人Jimmy Iovine與Dr.Dre會加盟蘋果，蘋果執行長庫克（Tim Cook）也表示，買下Beats是蘋果至今「最大的併購案」，提供製造iPhone音樂串流服務及Beats耳機生產線，但在公司加強併購的規模與腳步下，行事不會有所不同。
