立法院今天起召開第2次臨時會，原定今天上午要先行使監察院長、副院長的人事權投票，但民進黨、台聯黨立委再度霸佔主席台杯葛，國民黨團隨即舉行臨時黨團大會，會中做出決議，尊重所有黨籍委員，監委同意權可自行投票；在國民黨等同讓步下，在野黨也同意不再杯葛，讓朝野立委行使監委人事權投票。

國民黨立委賴士葆在黨團大會結束後轉述，國民黨政策會執行長林鴻池在黨團大會一開始表示，希望「快刀斬亂麻」，所有藍委將根據昨天假投票的狀況來投票，黨團也尊重投票結果，並且不亮票、不監票。

在黨團大會之後，林鴻池再度進入會場參與朝野協商，朝野達成共識，讓爭議不休的監察委員人事同意權，終於進入投票程序，今天也將處理完所有的監委人事權同意案。
