6.1強震襲尼加拉瓜　24人受傷逾百屋倒

中美洲尼加拉瓜首都馬那瓜，稍早發生芮氏規模6.1強烈地震，最少造成24人受傷、數十間房屋損毀，部分地區電力及通訊中斷，鄰國薩爾瓦多及哥斯大黎加都感到震動。

地震發生在台灣時間早上7點27分，震央位於首都馬那瓜西北50公里，深度只有13公里，屬於淺層地震，太平沿岸都感到震動。地震後再測得最少350次餘震，最少6次強度達到5級。馬那瓜至少有139間房屋倒塌，地震引發山洪爆發。當局發出黃色警告，部分地方停課。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
