前兩次大選投票結果無效後，馬爾地夫選民九日再度投票選舉總統。各候選人日前達成協議，同意並副署選民名冊，使投票作業得以順利展開。馬爾地夫前總統納希德去年遭到罷黜，結果引發政治危機，此次尋求取回權力。（英國廣播公司9日電）
