【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】已故總統蔣介石對歐美社會來說，是二次世界大戰重要的歷史人物，因此後代的行動也備受外國媒體關注。這次蔣友青惹出的風波，《美聯社》特地為此寫一篇報導，並被美國《華盛頓郵報》、《福斯電視台》以及《波士頓新聞網》引用。

報導標題為《蔣介石曾孫在台灣威脅過去就讀的學校，遭到起訴》(Chiang Kai-shek great-grandson charged with making threats against his former school in Taiwan)，內文提及蔣友青疑因台北美國學校8年前將他退學的舊怨，今年8月起屢次到校門前咆哮、比中指，還寫電郵騷擾教職員，甚至在個人臉書上表示要「屠殺全校」和「要放炸彈」恐嚇校方，士林地檢署昨一早派員到蔣家帶走蔣友青，偵訊後聲押他，但法官裁定8萬元交保，並限制出境。
