總統馬英九出席「2013台北客家義民嘉年華」活動，因昨天全運會致詞遭抗議團體丟鞋，今天特勤維安加強戒備，由於活動現場為戶外場地，參與民眾眾多，粗估至少有上百名維安人員，形成「三步一維安，五步一便衣」的狀況，還出動「攔鞋網」護駕，但仍遭民眾丟鞋抗議。
