安理會取消召開敘利亞緊急會議

聯合國安全理事會原本應俄羅斯要求，將於美東夏令時間今天下午四時（台北時間11日凌晨4時）就敘利亞危機召開緊急閉門會議，但是俄羅斯後來撤消這項要求。

澳洲駐聯合國大使、同時也是本月安理會輪值主席的昆蘭（Gary Quinlan）在他的推特帳戶推文宣布：「在撤消諮商要求後，安理會預定今天下午四時的會議將不會舉行。」

外交官表示，這項會議原預料將聚焦於俄羅斯所提、將敘利亞武器置於國際控制的計畫。

在美國國務卿凱瑞（John Kerry）表示，如果敘利亞總統阿塞德（（Bashar al-Assad））於下週內將全部化學武器交給國際社會，將可避免遭到軍事攻擊後，俄羅斯外交部長拉夫羅夫（Sergei Lavrov）昨天提出敘利亞政權交出化學武器，以避免遭受軍事攻擊的建議。
